Need Continuing Education Credits?

NMOS will be emailing a list of upcoming courses on the 1st and the 15th of each month. These are courses that the course providers have asked us to share with our members, and we have approved for continuing education credits. If you do not receive these emails, please check your SPAM/JUNK folder.

If you are a course provider, and would like us to evaluate your course for credits, and share with our members, please contact us at [email protected]

Standard First Aid with CPR C certification:

We recommend that you find a course via one of these websites: Canada Red Cross, St. John’s Ambulance or Lifesaving Society to register for a Standard First Aid Course with Level C CPR.

Continuing Education Credits:

Because of COVID-19, many companies have opted to transition to online-streaming courses. These are also called webinars, we also call these interactive/live. These are awarded the same credits as live In-person course. These are 1 credit/1 hour up to a maximum of 12 credits per course.

Online courses that are self led and self paced are only awarded at .5 credit/hour and can only have a maximum of 3 credits per course and a maximum of 6 credits per cycle.

As of our new cycle starting May 1, 2019 we are only accepting continuing education that is directly related to the 5 modalities of Manual Osteopathy:
Soft Tissue Manipulation, Osteoarticular Technique, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation or Lymphatic Drainage.

Please submit your certificates (via email) as soon as possible to be awarded continuing education credits.
Members should plan to complete at least one course per year to have the required credits by the cycle end date April 30, 2022.

Continuing education Credit accreditation will be re-evaluated for the next cycle.
